Building on amazing growth with in-game fantasy

The WNBA has seen record viewership & attendance numbers in the last two years in part to the embracing of technology & digital inititives. SQWAD linked up with the league to build an in-game fantasy experience to drive connection to each game & player.

We implemented our fantasy & loyalty activations into their app with the following goals:

  • Create a mobile experience that pulls fans in and connects them with the live game
  • Drive viewership & engagement
  • Drive fans to WNBAShop to increase merchandise sales

  • 13 Minutes of average screen time per game

  • Over 3,000 contacts added to their database

  • Over 200 WNBAshop coupons redeemed & used by fans,driving merchandise revenue
